Morgan Poultry Center

The Morgan Poultry Center was first established in 1920’s. The Center provides facilities and poultry to support research, teaching, and extension activities. The Poultry Center currently has two, +30-pens, large houses that can support broiler or layer studies; incubation, hatching, and brooding facilities; and outdoor and large pen housing facilities. An on-site feed mill supports diet formulation and nutrition studies. The farm maintains a variety of breeds of chickens for teaching purposes. Classes from the Department of Animal and Veterinary Science hold experiential learning activities on the Farm.

For biosecurity reasons, this property is not open to the public for drop-in visits. If you would like to visit this farm, please contact the farm manager for scheduling information.
