The Simpson Station Agronomic Unit was established in 1920 as part of the Farms Department and later called Ag Support. The Simpson Station performs operations, machinery-equipment, and primary crop production support for all other farms within PREC. Simpson Station services provided to the different farms include hay and silage production, pasture management, a state certified shop for vehicle and equipment maintenance, grading and land management for facilities maintenance, and diesel and gasoline fuel storage.
