TigerStripe

TigerStripe is a convenient, prepaid declining balance account that is applied on your TigerOne ID. Through the utilization of TigerStripe, cardholders can purchase various provisions on and off campus with their TigerOne ID without having to carry cash or other cards. There are no monthly fees or interest charges like a checking or credit card account, and your funds roll over from semester to semester.

To make a purchase, simply present your TigerOne ID wherever the TigerOne ID is accepted and the amount of your purchase will be deducted from your account.

Opening an Account

To open an account, visit the Accounts Portal and select “Open Account” in the TigerStripe section. There is no daily limit on the number of purchases that may be made and debited; however, no debits or charges shall exceed the amount of deposited funds.

The cardholder understands and agrees that the account cannot be used as a credit card or to obtain cash advances. The cardholder understands and agrees that the account is nontransferable.

Deposits

You can make deposits to your TigerStripe account online. Guest deposits can be made on behalf of the cardholder on the Guest Deposits Portal. You will need the cardholder’s CUID and username. Deposits can take up to 15 minutes to apply to the user account.

Any TigerStripe funds added to your University bill will be downloaded automatically to your TigerStripe account at the beginning of the semester provided your optional fees are paid in full.

Disputes About Purchases
