Our Charge within Clemson Elevate

The vision of Student Affairs is to deliver the No. 1 student experience. Our mission is to build tomorrow’s leaders through value-driven programs and experiential learning opportunities.

Student Affairs operates at the intersection of the academic experience and student life, building experiences that shape Clemson students and, ultimately, the people they become. The division is guided by five strategic priorities that support student success and retention, foster engagement and strengthen sense of belonging: Well-Being; Culture of Care; Spaces and Places; Laying a Foundation for the Future; and, Culture of Purpose.

  • Provide easily accessible and high-quality health care and counseling services
  • Encourage lifelong healthy habits by equipping students with knowledge, skills, and confidence to make investments in their wellbeing

Building Community and Belonging

  • Facilitate seamless transitions to campus life through community based residential experiences and first-year student programs
  • Promote ongoing engagement/involvement opportunities to support personal interests and career readiness skills development

  • Ensure communication strategies inform, educate and drive value for all constituent groups
