The purpose of 4-H Horsemanship Camp is to provide youth, ages 9-18 years old, an opportunity to learn better techniques of horsemanship while enjoying the fellowship of other 4-H'ers from across the state. The camp is designed to increase horse knowledge and horsemanship skills - from the basics for beginning riders to showing techniques for the advanced rider.
Horse Camp at Home (Link to Flyer)
This is an online horse camp for young people interested in learning more about horses. It is free to 4-H members and non-members. Youth must register online by June/July (depending on the session) and have internet access with the ability to use Zoom (online meeting platform- https://zoom.us/). Each day has suggested supplies, but they are not required.
Horse Camp at Home is a free virtual camp experience for any youth. The camp is provided by the South Carolina 4-H Horse Project, but participants do not have to be 4-H members to participate. Youth will meet daily from 1-2 pm ET, to learn about horses. Then they will receive a fun homework assignment to support the lesson they learned.
