4-H Summer Camps

Each year South Carolina 4-H hosts two summer camps for youth- Camp Long and Camp Bob Cooper.

Activities include swimming, canoeing, high adventure elements, and climbing tower, archery, team sports, a dance and talent show, and a nightly campfire with singing, skits, and stories.

You do not have to be a 4-H member to participate.


June 12-16, 2022, at Camp Long - near Aiken, SC

July 17-21, 2022, at Camp Bob Cooper - near Summerton/Santee, SC

A non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your child's spot and the balance will be due 2 weeks before your child's session of camp.

Required Paperwork

Required paperwork for the camp participant(due 2 weeks before the start of your session of camp)

  • Medical Statement/physical from a licensed medical personnel - must have had a physical within 24 months of the start of camp (a sports physical qualifies)
  • Copy of the latest immunization record
