The Deer Steward I program is a partnership with the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles of deer and habitat biology, ecology and management.

Who Should Attend

Anyone that is interested in learning more about deer, deer habitat and deer management should complete this program. 

Continuing Education Credits

Category 1 CFE - 4.0 hours; Category 2 CFE - 10.0 hours

How Online Programs Works

Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive within 3 business days a userid and password that provides you access to the online program. You will watch a video and then are required to pass a test with a score of 70 or better before moving to the next lesson. It is recommended that you have high speed internet for the online program. If you are not sure your computer is compatible with the online program, click here to test your system.


Registration for this program is through the QDMA. Once you register with the QDMA, they will provide you information for accessing the program. The cost of this program is $150-$250, depending upon options selected. To register, click here.
