Greenwood County Cooperative Extension
Putting Knowledge to Work
County Offices Closed
As of March 18, all 46 Clemson Cooperative Extension Offices will be closed to the public. Agents and staff will continue to be available by telephone and email.
The unprecedented step was taken out of an abundance of caution for the health and wellbeing of clients, agents and staff and to slow the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. The decision was made after consultation with Extension administrators, University officials, partnering agencies and stakeholders.
Extension offices are also not accepting soil samples at this time. Mail soil samples to: Clemson Agricultural Services Lab, 171 Old Cherry Road, Clemson, SC., 29634. Include a completed sample form and payment by check made to Clemson University. For questions concerning interpretation of results, contact the Home and Garden Information Center, 1-888-656-9988, or visit hgic.clemson.edu. For all other soil sample questions call 864-656-2068 or email email@example.com.
