Clemson Extension’s Be Well Informed is an education program that provides private drinking well owners with the opportunity to learn about well maintenance best practices and water quality. As part of this program, participants can have their well-water screened for recommended parameters that include information on pH, salinity, nitrates, and pathogen presence. Coming soon!

A webinar for private drinking water well owners

September 23rd, 12PM

Be Well Informed is an educational and screening
program for well owners in South Carolina.
Participants will have the opportunity to have their water screened for pH, total dissolved solids, nitrates and for the presence of bacteria.

  • Sample bottles will be mailed to participants.
  • Participants will drop off water samples on September 20th at the Lexington County Extension Office.
  • Sample results will be emailed to participants.
  • The Be Well Informed webinar with Q&A will be held live
    on September 23rd. A recording will be available upon
    request.
