I am a Ph.D. candidate studying dairy food microbiology and functional foods. I am part of the Graduate Student Government and the AVS Graduate Student Association.

 Research Interests

I work on the fermentation of milk products using food-grade bacteria and yeast. In our lab, we measure the products of fermentation and manipulate the substrate and microbes involved in creating common probiotic products.
