Complexity is pervasive, and design has to evolve to meet the growing demands for sustainability and increased autonomy, while considering multi-scale approaches, interdisciplinary issues, uncertainties, and Big Data.

Research Focus

The mission of the group is to develop approaches and computational tools to support the design, deployment, and service of large, multi-scale, complex systems. The group is working to understand how to design and manage large-scale cyber-physical-socio problems with uncertainty by developing computational tools, conducting data analytics, and running simulations and human experiments.
