Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School Jason Osborne oversees all activities within the Graduate School. This includes advising the Provost on policy related to graduate education, overseeing all processes from application through graduation, and professional development for graduate students and faculty. He leads the Graduate School staff in working closely with academic units to support their goals and mission, developing and supporting innovative initiatives in graduate education, and evaluating and maintaining the exceptional quality of programs offered at Clemson.
Jason’s background is in educational psychology and statistics. He continues to be an active scholar in applied statistics, having authored numerous books, articles, and scholarly presentations. His academic appointment as Professor is in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Prior to coming to Clemson, he spent almost two decades focused solely on graduate education at several other research universities. You can see his current CV here.

Dr. Fleming is involved in recruiting, admissions, orientation, professional development and inclusive excellence. He also works with faculty and staff to ensure that Clemson is effectively advocating for graduate students. Since joining the Clemson faculty in 2006, he has amassed more than $4 million in externally funded grants to support his work in alternative education programming.

Dr. Dominy leads the graduate program review initiative, working with the dean and the program review coordinator to fully implement and then advance this critical component.
Dr. Dominy joined the faculty of the Department of Chemistry at Clemson in 2005 and received an NSF CAREER award in 2010 for his research in the development and application of computational models to study the physical chemistry underlying biomolecular function and evolution. Dr. Dominy’s service responsibilities over the years have focused significantly on the development and assessment of academic programs at the departmental, college, and university levels at Clemson. Most recently, Dr. Dominy served as the interim associate dean of academic affairs for the newly formed College of Science from 2016-2018.
