Finishing the ETD Process

Confirmation Email

Your manuscript submission process is complete — and you’re officially cleared for graduation! — when you’ve received an email from the Administrator (Manuscript Reviewer) that reads approximately as follows:

Dear _________ ,

Congratulations. Your submission, #_________ [number assigned to your Clemson OPEN upload account,] has cleared all of the necessary formatting checks and will be released to Clemson OPEN after your official graduation date.

If your degree is a doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.N.P.), please take a few moments to be included in the National Survey of Earned Doctorates sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and others. Participation is voluntary but highly valued.

Congratulations! You are all set for graduation.

Manuscript Review Staff

Check the status of your submission, or access it anytime here: [your personal ETD account link will appear here]

The administrators lock your account to some types of changes after your ETD is accepted, but you will be able to view your ETD, metadata and other account info using the link in your acceptance message.

Missing that “Congrats” Message? Check Your Junk Mail!

Your “Congratulations” email comes from the domain @dcclemson.bepress.com. Depending on your email security settings, there is a chance your congratulations email may go to your junk mail or spam folder. If you feel you’ve waited too long for your format feedback, please check there.

Need to Revise After Your Manuscript Is Accepted?

Please do not create a new Clemson OPEN ETD account to upload a revised PDF, upload additional files or make any account metadata changes after your ETD has been accepted.

If you do need to make a change after your ETD has been approved and you’re cleared to graduate, send an email to manuscriptreview-l@clemson.edu.
