Training

Employees: Creating an Individualized Development Plan
- Summary: An individualized development plan is a customized plan for development that is focused on you – your goals, your strengths, your opportunities. By using a template and consistent process, we can create a clear path to development with a timeline for deliverables to discuss with a supervisor and mentor.
Supervisors: Coaching Employees for Development
- Summary: Identify your role and responsibilities as a coach and mentor in the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process and practice development plan coaching opportunities.
Coaching: Introductory and Advanced Sessions
- Coach Masters I: Intro session
- Summary: Interested in learning about professional coaching? Join us! Coach Masters I will introduce you to preliminary coaching methodology and define its correlation to behavioral development.

- Summary: Aimed at the next level of personal and professional development, the advanced session builds upon coaching practices by training you to use customizable guiding instruments that aid in goal setting and problem solving.

CU Grow
CU Grow provides a framework to support the personal and professional growth of Clemson University staff in full-time positions. Through workshops and training, skills development, experiential learning, and volunteer service, CU Grow makes transformational change possible.


New Employee Orientation
Clemson University’s New Employee Orientation is an opportunity to discover Clemson University's rich history and culture, learn about benefits offerings, and get all of your questions answered. Participants will also enjoy a memorable networking luncheon at one of the University's dining halls, a campus tour and more.

New employees are required to complete a number of different training courses. These courses are assigned to you in Tiger Training, the Training Management System.
