The CECAS Graduate Student Advisory Board exists to encourage and advocate for the well-being of graduate students while serving as a bridge of communication between the administration at Clemson and its graduate students. GSAB provides opportunities, engagement, and networking to students, connecting them with student peers, college-level leadership, and CECAS alumni.

Reach out to your departmental student services coordinator, one of the board members below, or join our Discord group.
How do I run for elected office?

Attend a GSAB general board meeting and express interest in a given position. Depending on the time of year, you may need to wait for the annual elections to occur.

How do I stay up to date on opportunities and events?

The GSAB representative from your department should communicate with your departmental student services coordinator to keep you updated on events. For other updates, join us on Discord, follow @CECASGRADS on Instagram, and stay in touch with your departmental GSAB representative.
What past events and initiatives has GSAB conducted?

GSAB has historically hosted on-campus encouragement events for students, featuring snacks and treats, as well as industry speakers who are Clemson alumni to assist with networking and job preparation. Additionally, GSAB solicits nominations for graduate travel grants to support students' attendance at academic conferences.
