Profile

An avid plantsman, Glen earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park in Horticulture and Natural Resources. Prior to employment with Clemson Extension, he owned his own ecological company, producing award winning landscape designs in preserving the environment and responsible use of natural resources in the South Carolina Lowcountry. A life-long learner, Glen attained multiple certifications in fields of interest ranging from arboriculture, landscaping, safety, & stormwater management. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. And is continuing to elevate the standards of service and education as a Clemson Extension agent.

Extension and Outreach

As the Urban Horticulturist I provide county wide programmatic support working in consumer horticulture, landscape industry, & ornamental nurseries. I support educational programs and consultation services to nursery professionals, landscapers, and home owners.
