Students in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (PRTM) learn how to manage recreational activities, take an active role in the environment, use recreation as a therapeutic intervention, and perform scientific studies on leisure, tourism and recreation and its effects on local, regional and national economies.

M.S. in PRTM (On Campus)

If you are planning to undertake doctoral study or want to work in leadership positions that require research skills in your profession, our on-campus, thesis-based M.S. places greater emphasis on research design and methodology.

M.S. in PRTM (Online)
