- Submit questions through Ask-HR
- Access Employee Assistance Program
- Change Payroll deductions
- View paycheck, W2, and direct deposits
- Search for a job online
- Set up benefit, new hires and exit appointments
- Answers general HR and payroll support questions
- Create job openings, approve job offers and create offer letters
- Assist customers with Tiger Talent questions as needed
- Review and approve requests in Tiger Talent
- Assist departments with new hire paperwork and Form I-9s (PDF) as needed
- Respond to incoming questions from budget center leaders and other employees
- Makes job classification and FLSA decisions
- Processes Personnel Action Requests (PDF)
- Triages and-assists with Employee Relations & Benefit related situations and escalate as necessary to Subject Matter Experts
- Approve student pay
- Initiate Tiger Talent requests
- Initiate Personnel Action Requests (PDF) and obtain approvals prior to submitting to HR
- Initiate Background Checks for new hires
- Process special payments, recurring payments, and other non-regular payments to employees
- Monitor department pay sheet reports for accuracy
- Posting of faculty and staff jobs to internal and external job boards.
- Creation/facilitation of additional external marketing and advertisement for positions.
- Provide data and status updates on applicant pools.
- Assist with recruitment tools: Interfolio, PeopleSoft, Spark Hire One-Way Interview platform, SkillSurvey Reference Checking tool, and Skills Testing through IBM Kenexa.
- Manages reference checks (SkillSurvey)
- Provide additional sourcing and guidance for hard-to-fill or executive level searches.
- Assist with screening applicant pools exceeding 50 total applicants.
- Provide information to assist with preparation for search process.
- Provide marketing materials for all levels of positions prior to in-person interview.
- Campus tours for on-campus executive-level interviews.
- Full search concierge service for executive-level positions
