Students often ask if an internship is something they should consider. If you are interested in, or even just curious about, a career in industry, the answer is YES! An internship is an experience that allows students to apply their academic knowledge and training in a professional setting.
When should I apply for an internship?
Recruitment often happens earlier than you think. If you are looking for an opportunity for Summer 2027, many companies begin their recruitment process in the Fall.
Finding internship opportunities
Several Clemson University events support students seeking internships. Consider these upcoming opportunities:
