B.S. Political Science, General Engineering
US Naval Academy 2015

George was born and raised in Marion, SC. He attended the US Naval Academy, graduating in 2015, and served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy. His interest in development, policy, and efficiency led him to pursue a masters degree in Applied Economics, but he always knew he would end up in Clemson, a lifelong dream. George is a 4th generation Tiger, with his great-grandfather graduating in 1901 (member of the 1900 undefeated football team under John Heisman!). George intends to work in the field of policy analysis and policy development, striving to increase the welfare of his beloved home state.

 Research Interests

George is primarily interested in domestic policy analysis, with education coming above all else. He is also interested in other domestic policy such as infrastructure, agriculture, and business.
