The Clemson Extension Master Gardener Program trains, selects, and utilizes knowledgeable volunteers to facilitate the educational work of the local Consumer Horticulture Agent, by delivering researched-based information to citizens of the state.
The South Carolina Master Naturalist Program is a statewide corps of volunteers providing education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities. Interested South Carolinians become Master Naturalists through training and volunteer service.
The entomology faculty in the Department of Entomology, Soils, & Plant Sciences at Clemson are vitally interested in the education of all South Carolinians. Clemson's K-12 Educational Resources are designed to be used by K-12 teachers in the classroom. In addition, our faculty and students are available for classroom or outdoor lab visits, locally, and can provide expertise in helping you create your own multi-disciplinary classroom experience, using resources provided on this website and others.
