Profile
Amanda is a Beaufort native who returned to the Lowcountry after completing her degree. A proud FFA alum, she competed in soil, wildlife management, and public speaking career development events during her time as a member. She chose Clemson's Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management program to combine her love for people with her love for the outdoors. While pursuing her degree, she participated in the Kennedy Waterfowl Center Creative Inquiry project, working alongside graduate and undergraduate students to study wood duck nesting habits in the Clemson Experimental Forest. Her previous titles include Assistant Ranger at Hunting Island State Park, substitute Kindergarten teacher, and Leasing Manager at a student apartment complex.
