Profile
Bailee Floyd serves as the Rural Health and Nutrition Agent for Horry and Marion County. Originally from Aynor, SC, she learned the value of agriculture and nutrition from a very early age. Bailee started her college career at Coastal Carolina University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. She earned her Master of Agricultural Education from Clemson University in 2023. Bailee is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Nonprofit Leadership at Clemson University. Bailee implements Diabetes Care Education and the Mother’s Milk Bank of SC in Horry County. She is also a program coordinator for the MUSC Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness School-Based Wellness Initiative in Marion County. She supports Marion County schools in implementing evidence-based policy, system, and environmental strategies targeting improved nutrition, increased physical activity, and enhanced social emotional wellness for both students and staff.
