Educational Background
M.Sc Geography and Planning (Hydrology option)
University of Lagos 2021
B.Ss Water Resources Management (Hydrology)
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta 2017
Profile
I hold a bachelor's degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Additionally, I earned a master's degree in Geography and Planning (Hydrology option) from the University of Lagos. My research interests include assessing water quality, water quality indices, soil moisture and nutrient dynamics, and the effects of environmental and hydrologic parameters on watersheds.
I am pursuing a Ph.D., focusing on using intelligent sensors to evaluate the impact of agricultural practices on soil health and water quality.
Research Interests
My current research focuses on the evaluating the impact of edaphoclimatic factors on silvopasture establishment in the Southeast USA, using a field-to-model approach by focusing on soil moisture to quantify the changes in the soil health, water quality, and the provision of ecosystem services. Using smart sensors, I monitor changes during the pre- and early-establishment phases to assess these impacts comprehensively.

Extension and Outreach
Fall for Wildlife: The Fall for Wildlife 2024 event was held on October 26 at the Nemours Wildlife Foundation in Yemassee, SC, bringing guests together for a conservation-focused learning. The sold-out gathering featured interactive research and education stations, live music from Cluster Shucks, a buffet lunch with drinks, and keynote remarks from Dr. Maria Whitehead of the Open Space Institute. Guests also enjoyed guided wagon tours of the property led by Nemours naturalists. Following the event, Nemours expanded engagement through a new donor series (Reflections & Horizons) and began offering free monthly public tours starting in November to share wildlife, land stewardship, and research with a broader audience.
