Educational Background

M.S Ecology
University of Central Florida 2019

B.S Environmental Science
Sun Yat-sen University 2015

Profile

I moved from China to US in 2016 to start graduate school, upon graduation I started working at Archbold Biological Station in South FL as an Environmental Specialist managing North Everglades Payment for Environmental Services project funded by South Florida Water Management District, the project focuses on controlling surface water and nutrient flow with local ranchers. My undergraduate experience involved mostly working in mangroves in subtropical South China. I recently joined BICEFS in March 2024 as a tower technician maintaining mostly Hobcaw cluster eddy flux towers.

Research Interests

I am generally interested in incorporating field experiment and sampling, instrumental technology and long-term monitoring to facilitate a successful and sustainable approach in conservation management.
