Profile
I am originally from India, where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Maharashtra. After graduation, I worked for a year as a Research Fellow at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). In August 2022, I joined Dr. Rustgi’s lab as a Ph.D. student and Graduate Research Assistant. I am also honored to be a recipient of the Wade Stackhouse Fellowship.
Research Interests
My research interest focuses on developing reduced immunogenic peanut lines by integrating molecular and conventional breeding approaches. This research aims to serve as an oral immunotherapy for peanut-sensitive individuals.
