Profile
Haley is a Water Resources Extension Agent stationed on Clemson University’s campus. In this role, she serves as a Program Coordinator on campus for Carolina Clear, and assists a team in coordinating and teaching the Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspector (CEPSCI) & Certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer (CSPR) courses. Haley works with Clemson University student groups, faculty/staff, local schools, citizens, and professionals to educate and provide outreach and public involvement opportunities related to stormwater & green infrastructure, water quality, and watershed awareness. She also partners with Water Resource Agents in Anderson and Pickens counties educating and involving residents in stormwater management through the Anderson & Pickens Counties Stormwater Partners consortium. Haley is an AmeriCorps Alumni, and her interests in water expand to her hobbies, where she enjoys exploring South Carolina’s waterways and mountains through hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
Extension and Outreach
Through my extension work on campus, I have a particular interest and experience using green stormwater infrastructure (GI) and nature-based solutions as experiential & service-learning opportunities for Clemson University students.
