 Profile

I teach Herpetology for Clemson and for my full time job, I am an Associate Professor at Southern Wesleyan University (SWU) where I teach a variety of Ecological and Organismal classes. I also lead Study Away programs for SWU and have taken students to California (2019), Kenya (2021--cancelled because of covid), and Utah (2021) to explore the unique ecology of these regions.

 Research Interests

Wildlife Ecology with a focus on life history information on reptiles and amphibians. I.e. What do they do in situ and why? I enjoy employing mark/recapture techniques including radio telemetry to better understand individual and (and hopefully populations) of herps in different habitats.
