With statewide responsibilities at the Clemson Home & Garden Information Center (HGIC), Joey uses his expertise in residential horticulture, plant diseases, plant insect pests, soil fertility, organics and residential pesticides to educate the public. He primarily focuses on writing fact sheets and timely topics, as well as taking photographs for the HGIC website at Additionally, he answers home gardening calls and emails from SC residents, and regularly updates control measures for residential plant diseases, insect pests, and weeds in all HGIC fact sheets.
