Karissa Ulmer serves as the District Extension Director for the Savannah Valley. This District encompasses twelve Counties starting in Beaufort and going up the Savannah River. Karissa spent most of her extension career as a 4-H Agent. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she majored in Agricultural Communications. Karissa and her husband Wesley have a commercial beef operation and have three children.
