Profile
Sam earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in nutrition from Clemson University. He completed his dietetic internship through Winthrop University and worked under numerous RD's throughout the Atrium heath system in Charlotte, NC. After receiving his RD credential, he went on to work in Oncology nutrition, assisting patients undergoing radiation and medical cancer treatments maintain proper nutrition status.
Research Interests
Sam's research interests include uptake of injectable lipid emulsions used in TPN solutions, enteral formula selection and its affect on the GI, and dietetic education preparing students for entry level nutrition practice.
