Profile
Tawanah comes from an extensive career in youth and leadership development as well as with a passion for civic and community engagement. A former 4-H participant and youth Girl Scout, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University as well as studied Journalism and Communications at the University of Central Florida and Northwest Florida State College. Her diverse professional background includes teaching, entrepreneurship (as the former owner and founder of a Lowcountry tutoring and mentorship program and current founder of a writing and editing service), as well as program development. Most recently, she had the honor to serve as a Leadership Development Manager at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
Tawanah is excited to ignite a spark in our K-12 youth and the volunteers who support them.
