Profile

Bruce is the Food Crops Agent for Florence, Darlington, Chesterfield, Lee, Lancaster and Marlboro Counties. He assists commercial growers with their fruit, vegetable, herb and tree nut related issues. Bruce has an extensive background in large-scale small fruit production.

Research Interests

Bruce is heavily involved in small fruit research. He is also interested in vegetable and soil health research.

Extension and Outreach

Bruce is involved with a number of production meetings throughout the year, including the annual Pee Dee Vegetable Production Meeting. He is also involved in a regional fruit and vegetable cooperative in the Pee Dee Region. Bruce does a number of pruning demonstrations throughout the winter.
