Clemson University Honors College Research Symposium

Share your research

An Honors student standing in front of a research poster she developed. She is discussing her research with a Clemson faculty member.

The Honors Research Symposium was designed to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Honors students by providing a meaningful opportunity to showcase their research and share their scholarly achievements with the Clemson community before graduation. This is a professional setting, designed to mimic a research conference that academic professionals commonly attend.

Honors students from all class years are invited to apply to present, with priority given to seniors graduating in December, followed by those graduating in May. Historically, students from every class year have been welcomed.

2026 Symposium: November 13

  • When: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Where: Honors Center (Cribb Hall)
  • Three concurrent research tracks take place from 2:45-3:45 p.m.
  • Poster session from 3:45-4:30 p.m.
  • Applications to present (presentation or poster) are due November 1.

Why Participate?

  • To share my research before I graduate
  • I have already presented at a conference and want to share with Clemson peers
  • I have never presented before and I want to gain experience in a professional setting

Three Ways to Engage

  • Present a 15-minute oral presentation based on your research
  • Present a research poster based on your research
  • 3. Attend a professional conference with fellow Honors students with actual student research

All registrants are entered into a drawing for a prize!
