Connections
Make Honors and Campus Connections
Our students are engaged – in their classes, on campus, and in their communities – and are focused on making the world a better place.
There are many ways for Clemson Honors students to make a difference while they're earning their degree. We encourage you to explore the options available to you and if you don't find what you're looking for, to create an opportunity of your own!
Honors Opportunities
Clemson Honors volunteer opportunities include:
- Black Honors Association
- Honors Student Ambassadors
- Honors Wellness Ambassadors
- Peer Mentors Program – a volunteer opportunity for upperclassmen
- Seniors Advising Sophomores in Honors (SASH) – a volunteer opportunity for seniors
The Honors Community Service Group works with various organizations to create a positive impact around the Clemson area and provide an atmosphere conducive to building relationships between the members. Their hope is that, by introducing members to like-minded individuals and providing volunteer opportunities, the continuation of community service works resonates with the club. Contact them by email to find out how you can get involved!
Student Organizations On Campus
There are more than 500 clubs and organizations that highlight everything from cultural diversity and dance to technology, sports, sustainability, religion, and more.
Find a club that suits you or start your own from the ground up.
Creative Inquiry
Creative inquiry programs also encourage you to take on a problem you want to solve, either on campus or in your community, and to work with a faculty member to build a solution while earning course credit.
You can join an existing project or work with a faculty member to create your own.
In the Community
There are several organizations in the surrounding community – big and small – that need volunteers. This list of nonprofit organizations in the Pickens area can help you get started or you can volunteer with a local school or municipality.
