Profile

I am an Extension Associate for the Rural Health and Nutrition team serving as the Chronic Disease Prevention and Self-Management Program Co-Coordinator. In this role, I am the program fidelity coordinator for the Health Extension for Diabetes and Know Diabetes by Heart programs and am the program coordinator and principle investigator for the program Growing Health. I also work to facilitate publications from within the team providing in-team peer review for fact sheets and blogs and serve on the RHN blog committee to ensure quality, evidence-based publications are delivered to stakeholders.

Prior to this role, I was the RHN Agent delivering chronic disease prevention and self-management programming in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Laurens Counties. I served as the Affiliate President for the South Carolina Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (SCEAFCS) from December 2022-December 2024.
