About the Arts and Creativity Lab

Design and Construction

The Arts and Creativity Lab was uniquely designed by Dr. Alison E. Leonard with the guidance of Project Manager Bill Hurst to provide a space for arts in education exploration and inquiry. Renovation to the former G01-A in Godfrey Hall included the removal of a drop ceiling, the installation of a specialized performance floor, the building of custom cabinetry, and the additions of energy efficient LED lighting. Both the visual arts and performing arts spaces were designed to be flexible, efficient, inviting, and accessible.
